Our Etherlite ports can only be accessed via realport.
You would need to look at our “Portserver TS” line for the functionality you are looking for.

Just to make sure that I got it right…
If, in an Solaris environment one would like to transparently telnet a serial device from anywhere, e.g. telnet where would map to the one of the serial connections on a Digi product, one would not be able to do this on an Etherlite, but rather on a Portserver TS?

On the Portserver, by default our socket ports use a base of 2000. Meaning port 1:
–2001 = telnet
–2101 = raw
–2501 = ssh
So telnet PS_IP 2001
