I’m running Digi ESP 5.9.7.1 under KDE 14.04 installed from the installation media provided by Digi with my Jumpstart Kit for iMX28 connect core
Whenever I go to the preferences page in the IDE as soon as I close the window the application exits without any error message.
Is anyone else having this issue?
Ubuntu/Kubuntu 14.x is not compatible with DigiESP 5.9.x because it shipps with newer Eclipse libraries.
Please use older revision, preferably the one installed from DigiEL live DVD that came with your kit.
The Linux build that shipped with the development environment requested to update to 14.04 when it installed. You should consider removing this update request from the Linux build if it’s going to result in an incompatible environment.
