Digi One SP - setup CLI not working in Windows 7 RC

Hello,

Please, please provide a (beta) of the RealPort setup CLI, which is working on Windows 7 RC x64.

Currently setup is not working because it doesn’t recognize the operating system.

The latest Vista driver works without problems when manually installing it on Windows 7.

I have to set up about 30 Digi One SPs on 20 Windows 7 machines. Help!

Alex

Is there some documentation that describes “manually” installing the RealPort Vista drivers on Win7? (Chicken scrathes will do).

Sorry Alex,

There is no beta driver available. You will have to set these up individually.
You can make this a little easier by setting one up through the browser, then make a backup copy of the config file, edit the config file, and upload it to the next unit, then repeat.
I do not have an expected release date for an updated driver (or a beta).

Thanks for the quick response.

That’s really too bad. The devices are alredy configured, but installing them in Windows 7 and assigning com ports will take for ever :(.

Hello again,

Is there any news on realport drivers for Windows 7?
We really miss the setup CLI.

The offical windows 7 driver should be released sometime in 30 days. However we will only support offical released version of the operating system.

Alex,
I believe the CLI error you are reporting is “could not create process(740)”. This error is resolved in the realport driver that will be released soon.

You should create a support case at the below site and we can send you the driver as soon as it is released.
