Digi-Xr and Accelport 920

Are these two cards the same?
The one that I have is PN 50000536 Sn D9800885 Mfg 1995, it works fine with SCO 5.0.7 using MPI 2.9.1, but fails with SCO 6.0.0 with latest (4002846).
I have downloaded 401157AA in the hope that an earlier driver for Unixware 7 will work ???

The part number you used is for a PCI 8r (now known as the Acceleport Xr), and this is NOT the same as an Acceleport Xr920.

Since the driver treats these two products differently you MUST select Acceleport Xr (rather than Xr920) when you add the product to the driver in MPI.

Please try this, and if the install still fails you can call Technical Support and open a case, though charges will apply due to the age of your product.

Thanks, I found out how the space bar works, to scroll through all the choices.

Well not quite, I got the correct card selected and didn’t have any indication that the epca download has failed.
Now when I select Port Configuration, the number of boards installed says FAIL and (PCI) repeats until the screen is filled.

Will changing the CMOS settings so that the card has a unique interrupt resolve this, or will going to the older release (Nov 2001) solve the problem?
Thanks,

Installed MPI Version 4.2.2 for Unixware 2 and 7.
At least modems will dial out.
Scoadmin serial, does not find additional ports.

Since using the Unixware driver hasn’t been tested on SCO OS 6, I’m not sure what might be causing this. Best I can recommend is to pkgrm the Unixware driver and install the mpi driver we’ve made for SCO Openserver 6.

If you’re having problems with the SCO OS6 driver, I’d recommend creating a support case.
