DigiEL-5.0 on Ubuntu 10.10

I just got a DC-ME-9210-LX Development kit. I installed DigiEL-5.0_installer on Ubuntu 10.10. When I launch the program, I just get a small blank window.

Another post mentions that DigiEL-5.2 is available but I can’t find any place to download it.

Will version 5.2 work with Ubuntu 10.10 and how can I get it?

Digi Support recommends to only use the Kubuntu version that came on the DVD.
