direct broadcast vs DIGIMESH

Hello guys,

is there anyone that can explain me the difference among Point to Point/Multipoint, Repeater/Directed-Broadcast, DigiMesh settings?

In particular I’m interested to understand if the network is always organized as a DigiMESH then messages are routed in a different way on top of DigiMESH or DigiMESH routing is only enabled in case of DigiMESH setting (0xC0).

They might not be different from scratch but I wouldn’t say one is built on top of other.

In fact for some modules like XBee 900HP, you get separate firmware options for P2MP and DigiMesh to choose from.
