I am trying to connect to a digi connect wi-me device through a netgear wireless router. The amber LED is on continuously. The green LED is flashing very fast continuously. I can ping the wi-me device. when I try to use the discovery utility it will not recognise the wi-me. My laptop is using windows XP. My laptop wireless system is switched off. My windows firewall is bturned off. My norton firewall is turned off. Any ideas why discovery will not recognize the wi-me???
Did you turn on ADDP when you built the module? Also, if your network configuration is not standard, the multicast may not find each other.
Netgears are also notorious for blocking multicast ports. Try, as an experiment, just connecting to a switch with an access point and disconnecting the Netgear.
