I am new with Xbee modules. I want to use Digimesh in my project which needs peer to peer networking. I am confused that whether all series 1 modules support digimesh or does digimesh has its own modules?
The best way to assure a Series 1 (i.e. 2.4 GHz) Xbee module will support DigiMesh, is to buy a module from us which was specifically loaded with that protocol stack from factory:
Barring that, some of the newer S1 Xbee modules can be converted from 802.15.4 to DigiMesh 2.4 use, so long as the Date Code of the module meets certain criteria which are detailed here:
