Does the ConnectPort TS 8 MEI supports alternate pin-out for 4-wire mode EIA-422/485 unterminated? Need to use the 8-pin RJ45 for 4-wire mode EIA-422/485, similar to PortServer TS 8 MEI.

Need to use the 8-pin connector.

It does. I am currently using a ConnectPort TS 8 MEI with a serial device that uses RS-485 and I have it wired up using and RJ-45 8-pin connector with the 4-wire pin out shown in the Digi documentation.

I’m trying to migrate from a PortServer to a connectport 16 ts MEI and use the configuration of the rj45 pinout for 4 wired 485.

Could you send what config are you using in your ports for this connections? We tried the altpin option but we are not able to see any traffic going on.Thank you very much!
