Edgeport/1 with Solaris 10 x86

Has anyone had any issues w/ the Edgeport/1 with Solaris 10 x86? We’re using the 06/06 version of Solaris with the drivers that come w/ Solaris 10. Driver appears to be attached and a serial port /dev/term/0 and /dev/cua/0 was created. However we’re unable to open the serial port or use it w/ our GPS device.

Any ideas or suggestions?

We aren’t aware of any compatibility issues related to that combination of Edgeport and OS.

For troubleshooting purposes, try installing the same Edgeport/1 on a Windows PC and see if you can open the COM port and talk to the same GPS device.
