I’ve moved our Edgeport 8 with MT5600ZDX modems from a Windows 2008 server to a new Windows 2012 R2 server and now when I receive any fax I just get a bunch of lines on the page. It looks like it’s all scrambled. I’ve verified the port settings from the old config to the new one but nothing seems to help. Any idea on why I would be getting scrambled faxes now?
Sounds like a modem setting. You might want to take compare the initialization strings used on the old server as these settings define the fax quality, format, etc…
It is set to the same initialization string as the old server.
