After resetting a Digi EZ Connect 8 using the rear button, the Digi Navigator does not find the product, regardless of whether the app filters (HTTP, HTTPS, SSH) are enabled or disabled. If I perform a reset and keep a Putty session open to see its behavior, nothing except lines and the letters from the word “putty” scroll down repeatedly without stopping. The settings for the Putty sessions were 15200 for the speed, 8 for data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit, and no flow control (none). The reset button was pressed and held for 50 seconds, I could see the lights blinking like resetting, but the Digi cannot be found using the tools mentioned. I also attempted a “power cycle” and tried to reset it but had no luck. If I leave the Digi connected to see if anything happens after long minutes, I can see the network having activities but still unable to locate it.
Are you able to get a ping reply from this device, if you ping it at 192.168.210.1? The PC plugged into it (the Eth 1 port specifically) would need to be on the same subnet (e.g. 192.168.210.2 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0) for this to work. If so, then see if you can get into this device’s webUI using that same (special setup) IP address.
