Help in installing EdgePort in SUSE (SLES11 SP2)

I’m new to linux and I still learning how to use it. Right now, I have a problem with installing the EdgePort driver on my SLES 11 SP2, kernel 3.0.13-0.27-default.

Forgive me for being a noob, but would someone help me with the steps to install Edgeport?

I stumbled into this directory and tried to download and install edgeport to no avail…
ftp://ftp1.digi.com/support/beta/linux/edgeport/

any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The Edgeport drivers are built into the kernel. We recommend contacting the linux-usb mailing list if you are experiencing problems.
