I have some equipment that outputs it’s log to the serial port. I’d like to capture this with a time stamp. So I’d like to use my Digi One SP to attach to it’s serial port and output everything that comes into it, out to my Syslog server. I’m not quite sure how to do this.
I setup the device as a UDP client and the destination with my Syslog servers info and port 514. CR to send the data but I’m not getting anything actually sent to the syslog server. I’m sure there is something simple I’m missing… just can’t figure out what.
