The source of the serial data will be a port on the TS4 Port Server and I would like at least two Windows servers to read the data via the Real port driver.
I am having the same issue. I have a port configured as RealPort, and want to listen to serial data coming into that port from multiple PCs. The first PC is able to connect and listen to the data, but any PCs after that just get “Could not open COM port” if they attempt to connect.
You will want to look at port sharing to accomplish this. More details can be found on page 204 in the Command Reference:
