How to increase throughput on XBEE-pro S2

Currently I am using the XBee Pro S2 with digimesh, transmitting at 2.4Ghz.

I have sent a file 150kb in size, and the data rate of the the transmission was recorded at 9kbps. the 2 modules are about 2m apart in an office.

The datasheet states 27kbps. What can I do to increase my throughput? What setting can be changed to improve this?

Try setting the coordinator in Unicast mode. That is set the DL and DH of the Coordinator to match the SL and SH of the router.

Thanks for the response. However I am already sending in Unicast mode, and still have this low data rate.
