I tried to reset my Xbee S6B to default configuration by disconnecting from evaluation board, after this was connected DIN to GND, after this conected to my evaluation board and after this was given voltage by USB from laptop.
In this time power LED ( red ) is lighting and DIN LED ( green ) blinking. How I can to restore my Xbee module to command mode ? ( the “+++” command does not give OK ) ?
I tried to solve the problem with XCTU, but I can’t do it because my Xbee is connected to the Nucleo board via UART, and not directly to the USB port of the laptop
I am not surer you can. In order for the XBee to talk to XCTU, you need to have the DI and DO connected to the PC with the proper voltage levels. May I suggest you obtain a Digi interface board to work from. It will give you the ability to connect the radio to the PC and XCTU. It will also give you a known good point to work from.
I bought an adapter board for my Xbee and installed XCTU. It shows up in XCTU, but I can’t download and install firmware for it. What I’m doing wrong ? I’m attaching a screenshot
Once downloaded, use the Help> update firmware library> Install from file and brows to the Zip file above. Once installed, you should be able to read your radio.
I installed legacy firmware and my XTCU finally started and read Xbee parameters. Can you advise me what parameters should be changed, except for the WiFi network name and password?
Eric, I tried to do this, but any attempt to write a parameter or attempt to perform Active Scan gives a Connection Timeout error. How can I fix this ?

And what is AI = 0x40 ? It’s information missing in the User Manual…
