How to send "CONTROL-Y" to Switch?

I have some Avaya stackables connected to my DIGI CM48.
To login to a Nortel/Avaya switch you need to send a “CONTROL+Y” to get past the banner.

Once I get into the telnet session how can I send that “CNTR+Y”
