Install 40002086_h.src.rpm on RedHat Fedora 2.6.8-1.521

We are trying to install drivers for a Portserver II on RedHat 2.6.8-1.521 and aren’t having any luck. We installed and built the drivers fine but we’re not sure it this rpm is compatiable with this version of Fedora.

Any help would be appreciated!

When running ‘dgrp_cfg_node’:

dgrp_cfg_node init a 192.168.1.20 16
ERROR: couldn’t register node a.

When running ‘dgrp_gui’:

Application initialization failed: no display name and no $DISPLAY environment variable
Error in startup script: invalid command name “image”
while executing

The released driver version will not work with the newer 2.6.8+ kernel versions.

Please contact Digi Technical Support for a pre-release driver that will work in the newer kernels.
