We are facing problems in using S2c Xbee modules,
When a module is configured as a coordinator any transmission sent to it through its uart is immediately echoed back.
However a Tx message sent to the router through its uart gets transmitted and is received on the Co ordinator.
Does the 802.15 firmware support mesh for Xbee S2c, again having problems when trying to create a network between routers/endpoints and a device configured as a Co ordinator.
Please detail steps for making a co ordinator and multiple routers in mesh net as we have followed the dara sheet but are having problems with the transmission from Co ordinator
Recently have observed problems with the 865 Xbee modules too firmware ver 8074, once Dh, Dl are programmed, unable to restore Dh to 0x0,
Check the DL and DH parameter on your S2C modules. I think you will find that it is set to 0 which is a special address which tells the module to send all data to the Coordinator. So when you are a Coordinator, unless you change these fields, the data will be sent back to yourself.
No, 802.15.4 is NOT a mesh protocol. It is a Point to point, point to multi-point protocol only.
