When the server is restarted if a windows user presses the enter key prior to the startup of mvBase Windows takes control to the TS16 and the users on mvBase are locked out. The only way to get the ports working on mvBase is to again restart the server
mvBase is a data base application (current version of Pick) that interfaces with the user software. The serial ports are used for serial devices, printers, scanners, and other types of serial devices. Once Windows takes control of the TS16 the serial devices cannot connect.
Is there any way to prevent the TS16 from connecting to the server during the boot up process until the user is ready to connect it to mvBase.
