Maybe I’m missing something, but I’ve got my AnywhereUSB concentrator hooked up and connected no problems. I just don’t see where I have the option to set a configuration password.
The screenshots in the manual show two additional buttons for doing this and I don’t have them.
AwUsbCfg.exe Version: 2.51.1
On a side note, I noticed the firmware revision in the event log doesn’t match what is on the main screen. Which one is correct?
The password-protected lock/unlock feature, which was added in he previous software release, was recently removed from the current AnywhereUSB Configuration Utility. So you would have to use the previous release in order to use that feature. Let me know if you’re interested and I can provide you with a link to get it from our FTP site.
For the 2.51 driver (the current release that you’re running), the firmware should be 2.30.5. Perhaps the Event Log has old information.
