Noflow parameter and ZeroWindow message

Hello,

We are having problems with two “Digi One Ts8”, they are receiving rs232 data(9600pbs) from port 1, We use rtelnet to obtain that data from a Solaris 8 Machine.

Sometimes we have problems with the conecction between the solaris Machine an Digi and we saw in a network analyzer (Ethereal) ZeroWindow Message reported by the Digi.

We saw some stats from digi and saw that in “info serial” there are a lot of “noflow” Failures (It can be a real problem? What is the Received Buffer?)

It sounds like the flow control set on the Digi serial port might not match that set on the Solaris 8 consoled server. Check/compare the flow control on those two and make sure they match.
