PortServer II, can't ping

we are implementing 2 digiport server II, we assign and IP, Domain name, gateway, subnet mask,nameserv ip, icmp redirect to listen, everything else default, at the begining we were able to ping, after an hour or so, we try to ping and i received a “request time out” message, we disconnect and reconnected the ethernet cable and was able to ping again, i have to disconnect and reconnect everytime the digiport losse the connection, is anyone know how i can fix this?

I’d recommend trying a different port on the hub/switch or whatever its being plugged into, just to make sure that’s not the problem.

Other than that, make sure your firmware is up to date on the PSII, and if that doesn’t work you might want to call Technical Support and open a case.
