Problem occurred when trying to debug

Hi

I just tried to follow the Building_Your_First_Application process. Everything went well until I tried to debug the hello_world application. After I click the debug button, I received the pop up message…

Problem Occured
“Launching hello_world_c Debug” has encountered a problem.
Plug-in “com.digi.lxenetes.debug” was unable to instantiate class “com.digi.lxnetes.debug.launch.EmbeddedCommandFactory”.

What should I do to solve this problem?

Which DEL version are you having?
5.5 or 5.6 ??
have you tried the below link and downloaded 5.6 ??

I have DEL 5.6. I installed the DEL 5.6 which came with the development Kit.

Hi

I asked the DIGI technical support and got the solution.

In the “run configuration” select debugger tab and select GDB command set: “Standard”.

This should fix the problem.
