Problem with development board

My development board started displaying the following message in Hyperterminal when I boot it up. I do not know what to do. I checked the manual for resetting the board, but the procedure requires an FTP of the ROM image, which is not possible with the board in this condition.

Your module is in recovery mode, which means your image.bin is corrupted and you don’t have a backup.bin. Use hyperterminal to send a new image.bin via XMODEM and you should be ok.

Thank you so much for your help. Using XModem worked! I tried the 1K XModem and ZModem, which did not work.
