Is it possible for a router in API or AT mode to leave its current network and join another network with another coordinator once its communication with its current coordinator breaks? how to setting it to do so? thanks
Sure it is… It is just dependent upon the settings used on the radio and if the other network that is in range is allowing Joining or not.
would you please guide me how to setting it?
That is nothing more than enabling the Channel Verification (JV) and setting the Network Watchdog timer (NW). With these enabled, a router will perform a network reset once it has not heard from the Coordinator within three times the NW time frame. JV tells the router to make sure that there is a coordinator on the network once it associates.
thank you for your guidance. will try it soon.
