Hello! I have a problem with my adapter rs232. it is not rocognized by the gateway. Tha gateway has the same PAN ID with the adapter. What can i do?

There are a number of things that can prevent this.
1- confirm the 232 adapters is of the same series (1 or 2) as the gateway. what is the part number of the 232 adapter?
2- Are the gateway/232 adapter using PAN ID 0 or something else? If it’s 0, try setting to something else for each.
The 232 adapters is of the same series (2) as the gateway.
The gateway and the 232 adapter have the same PAN ID (234). I have tried other PAN ID but is not working. The adapter is not rocognized by the gateway.
Any ideas?
