Will iDigi be able to support server side scripting in the future?

Basically I would like to do some basic alarming. I want to know if a value from a remote device is out of range or if it fails to report new data to idigi in a predetermined time. If there is an alarm an email gets sent.

I don’t see a way to do it now. (Maybe I am missing it.)

If it is planned, is there a time frame?

If not then I will look at some other cloud service to handle the alarming functions and poll the iDigi server for the data.

Hi,

This feature is currently not available. It is something we would like to do in the future, however I wouldn’t say there is really a planned time frame for it at the moment. For now your best bet would be to do what you said, find or write a simple app that retrieves for the information and alerts based on it.
