Static IP Address not able to be Assigned - Anywhere USB 2

Hi All,

I have succesfully installed and configured the Anywhere USB 2 device that we recently added to our network for scanning on thin clients.

It works beautifully however I am unable to get the static IP address to stick. The Configuration utility program doesn’t seem to have any effect and the web utility returns the following error when trying to change to static ip.

"A problem occurred saving settings:

  • Invalid network configuration (no route from host to gateway)"

Any ideas where I am going wrong?

Note: I have updated to the latest firmware and am still experiencing the same issues.

Hi Allan,

Can you list the exact IP / gateway / subnet mask that you’re trying to input?

Exactly which firmware revision are you running now?

In case you (or any other customers, for that matter) are still running into this issue, it was fixed in the B1 revision of the AnywhereUSB/2 firmware that you can get from our support site.
