Strange error messages

I’ve installed a new Digi Neo 4 port multiport card under RedHat AS3; looking in the logs appears some strange errors that I can’t understand:

10/11 03:48:21 n1d WARNING: DCD line still active, check modem settings (AT&Dx)
10/11 03:48:21 n1d lowering DTR to reset Modem
10/11 03:48:21 n1d TIOCMBIS failed: Input/output error
10/11 03:48:21 n1d cannot turn off soft carrier: Input/output error
10/11 03:48:21 n1d tcgetattr failed: Input/output error
10/11 03:48:21 n1d cannot get TIO: Input/output error
10/11 03:48:21 n1d mg_init_device failed, trying again
10/11 03:48:21 n1d lowering DTR to reset Modem

Can anyone help me??

Sounds as though you need to deactivate software flow control and activate hardware flow control. Although it is hard to say without seeing the mgetty inittab syntax and ditty -a port settings.
