Threaded RJ-45 to 9 pin adapters

Hello,
Our group recently purchased a bunch of the XTEND-NEMA 1W radios and we’re finding that the RJ45 plug to 9 pin adapter comes loose, specifically, the RJ45 side. We have these radios in remote locations so field repairs are very expensive. I’m looking for a better way secure the RJ45 plug to the 9pin adapter.

Has anyone else had a similar scenario and found a secure aftermarket adapter?

I contacted Digi support but they did not have any solutions.

Adam, try using some silicone to hold the RJ45 connection in place.
