USB 5 keeps losing connection

We have a Digi Anywhere USB 5 MHC device with two license dongles plugged into it. Sometimes the device loses connection with the network, and we lose the licensed privileges for our software.

I pull the power plug from the device, wait a few seconds, and plug it back in, it starts up, and we go a week or a month with no issues.

The left hand LED blinks in the following pattern when the unit is ‘down’: five short red, five short red, two short red, one long green, repeat.

It’s plugged into a UPS, so no power issues.

Any ideas as to what is happening, and how to fix it?

I would ensure you have the latest AnywhereUSB/5 MHC firmware installed which is version 1.40. This resolved an issue like you are describing that the 1.40 firmware resolves.
