Using Xbee explorer as Xbee Shield

My question is pretty simple. Can I use Xbee Explorer as Xbee Shield?
I am using Arduino MEGA. I don’t want to buy an XBee Shield and I don’t want to deal with wiring and soldering?
I have XBee Explorers
So Can I use Xbee USB Explorer (Sparkfun) as a Shield.
I think the rx tx pins in explorer work the same as din dout pins at Xbee (Shield).
I want to put the explorer on the breadboard and pull the cable from there to the arduino.

Can I do this? or another idea?

Gunesmadrali,

That is a question you really need to ask SparkFun Electronics as they are the ones that developed the XBee Explorer and XBee Shields. Not Digi.
