We run a virtual desktop environment and every month we do a “recompose” this means our users get a fresh desktop based of the master image.
This allows us to roll out updates in a quick and neat fashion and also to fix any issues on a particular desktop just by giving them a fresh copy.
Only issue is when we do this the user looses their AnyWhereUSB/14 settings and connection. We already keep all %appdata% persistently so I know the config isn’t being saved there.
If this is just a file somewhere written to on the client side I would love to know where it is as then I can add it to the files we backup and restore as part of our “recompose” process.
