I have completed the configuration of XBEE modules s1 series, not PRO (I have set up same PAN ID and destination and source addresses). I am using a USB module to connect it to PC.
I have checked in loopback mode(connecting Dout and Din) for both Xbee and they are working fine. But they just don’t communicate with each other
I am using XCTU software. When I write in Terminal of one Xbee it is not shown in the other
Then it did not pass a range test. Passing a range test means that the data was sent out the UART of the PC into the radio connected to the PC (DI) then sent over the RF to the remote radio where the data was sent out the UART (DO). The data would then be looped back into DI of that remote radio and sent back over the air to the radio connected to the PC. The data would then be sent out the UART (DOut) to the PC.
Try setting both radios back to defaults states and then running your range test with shorting data in and data out on the remote radio. It should pass.
