I am using X-CTU to establish a new conversation between two xbee RF module, but for some reason they cannot see each other even the distance between them is very short, and they are on the same channel. I wonder if there is any troubleshooting guide for X-CTU
assuming both xbees are Digi, make sure they are compatible. what firmware versions are they running?
You also should check their basic settings:
pan id (ID)
encryption enabled? (EE)
sleep mode on? (SM)
Scan Channel (SC)
Destination settings: (DH & DL)
In general these settings should like up.
Send their configuration file and we might be able to comment further.
