XB3-24Z8RM and the XB3-24DMRM - can they substitute?

I use XB3-24Z8RM for my application, but due to the worldwide shortage, I need an alternative.

Potentially, this radio - XB3-24DMRM is a good candidate. I presume the DM means “DigiMesh”, which is a firmware difference.

My question, can I use the XB3-24DMRM module as a substitute for the XB3-24Z8RM as long as I flash the same firmware family to the “DM” I use in the “Z8”?

Yes that would work. Just make sure to change the firmware from the Digi Mesh version to the desired Zigbee version.
