Hai everyone. I am too beginner for Xbee. I am working on one small application. In that I am planning to do 2way communication beetween 2 Xbees. But when I configure in XCTU software some times its communicationg. sometimes unfortunately Its not communicating. So i am not getting any permanent solutions So anybody can help me on this.
What is the exact Digi part number and firmware version installed on your modules?
What if any Error messages you are getting from XCTU?
Is this going to be a simple point to point connection between two modules or are you looking at using Routers to extend the range?
Digi part number:-XB24CZ7WIT-004-revH
Profuct family:-XB24C
Function set:- ZIGBEE TH Reg
Firmware Version:-4061
What if any Error messages you are getting from XCTU?- Their is no Errors in the X-ctu software.
Is this going to be a simple point to point connection between two modules or are you looking at using Routers to extend the range?- This is just an Point to point connection. or just router and coordinator communication.
What I would suggest is changing the firmware on both radios to the 802.15.4 function set and versions (2003). This will allow for a simple point to point, point to multi-point or default Peer to peer network with little to few adjustments to the firmware.
Yes. I have done the configuration but data transmission happening for router to coordinator. but it is not happening for coordinator to router. after some time comunication will break automatically. for this issue I am not getting the permanent solution…
@Gangadhar, Are you setting the DL and DH of the coordinator to the SL and SH of the router?
How often are you sending your data and what size is the data packet being sent?
Are you using transparent mode or API mode?
I don’t have a deep knowledge in X-Bee. Just want to do Communicate between Router and coordinator. So if you possible try to provide me with a configuration procedure. Please.
In my case I am just configuring ID and CE parameters in both the X-Bees.
I would suggest looking at Sample ZigBee or Digi Mesh network using XBee radios | Digi International
Sorry for the late reply. Due to this solution my problem got resolved thank you for your help.
