XBEE >> H-Bridge direct connection?

I would like to use the XBEE module to control a DC motor via a TI dmos full-bridge motor driver. Motor power

would be provided by an on board diode bridge connected to a mains power source (6V, 2A). Do the logic inputs to

the motor driver need to be isolated from the XBEE via an optoisolator? Can power ground and logic ground be

connected directly? If so any special design considerations?

No, you need to isolate them. The XBee is a 3V device only. It does not have the ability to connect o a 6V device direct. You also can’t source more than 45mA of current from the XBee.
