I have 2 XBEE PRO S3B’s and Sparkfun USB interface boards. Just going by the pinout showing a bunch of DIOn I/O pins, it seems that the XBEE should be able to be used for more than just a wireless modem. Is there some high level language support for the XBEE? Say, like the Arduino IDE that can be used for much more than just Arduinos?
