[Xbee]Router lamp is not blinking

I’m using three Xbee

two of them are “Xbee S2C” and
the other “Xbee S2(IEEE 802.15.4)”

I have performed experiments
In order to confirm the functionality of the module.

I was set up as follows.

[laptop A]
[Xbee S2C] - Coordinator
↑
separated 150yd
↓
[laptop B]
[Xbee S2 IEEE 802.15.4] - Router
↑
separated 150yd
↓
[laptop C]
[Xbee S2C] - End device(Destination)

The “Xbee S2C” that connected to “laptop A” is
Coordinator

and “Xbee S2(IEEE 802.15.4)” with “laptop B” is
Router

and “Xbee S2C” with “laptop C” is
End device(Destination)

“Laptop A” and “Laptop C” was able to exchange messages with each other properly.

but While exchanging messages,
The lamp of “Xbee S2” that connected to “Laptop B”
is not blinking.

If the message is passed via a “laptop B” corresponding to the “Router”,
The lamp of “laptop B” also had to blinking.

but it’s not.

Is it correct
that lamp is not blinking when it is
used as a router ?

If it’s not, the message is being sent without passing through the router?

I guess Coordinator is directly sending data to End Device. Zigbee and IEEE 802.15.4 protocols have similarities but they are different and not compatible with each other.

Module connected with laptop B is not part of network. You need to switch its firmware to Zigbee as well.
