Hello, i have two XBee XB24-Z7WIT-004 modules and, because its my first time using XBee modules, i want to make a pear to pear first.
The question is about your software, X-CTU, configuration. I want to be sure im doing everything right.
So, as COORDINATOR, are these settings okay for a coordinator, pear to pear:
Modem: XB24-ZB (Since i have the XBee module 2 mW Wire Antenna - Series 2 ZB)
Function Set: ZIGBEE COORDINATOR AT
Version: 20A7
Then i just changed the PAN ID to ’ 3001 '.

That is correct - then configure you other module as ZIGBEE ROUTER AT firmware version 22A7. Make sure that both modules are on the same PAN ID of 3001.
You also need to make sure that the OP - Operating PAN ID and CH - Operating Channel match on both radios before they will communicate. This lets you know that the router has joined the coordinator.
You can also unicast the radios together by setting the DH and DL of the coordinator to the SH and SL of the router. Also set the DH and DL of the router to the SH and SL of the coordinator. This makes it so only these two radios will communicate with each other.
