xtend transmit timing

I have 2 XT09 units, 1 attached to PC (A) and 1 remote (B), both running at RF baud 9600.
When transmitting from A to B TTX time is 94ms, but when immediately transmitting back from B to A the TTX time is about 300ms. Is there a setting that I am missing that controls this timing?

There are several commands that could be causing this. Everything from RN and TT to FS, RO and RB.
