ZB/SE end devices

Hi,
I was wondering if Digi has any end devices which follow the ZigBee Cluster Library (ZCL) spec. I took a look at XBee ZB Sensors but according to these links: http://www.digi.com/support/forum/viewthread_thread,99#379 and http://www.digi.com/support/forum/viewthread_thread,86#279 they appear to speak Digi’s private language.

I read that there is some “smart plug” coming - would it follow the ZigBee SE Profile and thus the ZigBee Cluster Library?

Or do you have plans on any ZCL-compatible end device?

Thanks & Regards,
Maria

Same question here!

Being that this was last asked nearly one year ago… and it received no reply… I think I know the answer

I’ve been looking at including the XBee Wall Router and XBee Sensors into some of my deployments and proejcts… however… I have no intention of using the Digi Gateway or Python codebase.

Is there a list somewhere that talks about how the sensors on these products line up to ZCL clusters? Or… is the application layer on the Digi devices completely proprietary (a manufacturer specific profile?)

The manual says “Digi XBee ZB firmware operates on a private profile called the Digi Drop-In Networking profile”. IS the Digi private profile documented somewhere?

I think all there is to document is listed in the ZB PDF manual - an echo function and few others. The SE/Smart-Energy Xbee are highly ZCL-oriented, but the normal products are not … pity, and I don’t know why.

I suppose Digi had a lot of legacy function (the DDO/AT struture) to continue supporting and didn’t have ample code space for new things beyond ZB itself.
