Hey everyone, i hope someone has some insight.
I got my TS Realport working beautifully with a serial connection…
As a test I removed the power and plug it back in to the device to make sure the connection comes back…
However, after I do this I get the dreaded “A device attached to the system is not functioning” error anytime I try to connect to the COM port now. I uninstalled the drivers, restarted the server, etc and it persists! I had this problem before too.
The error in event viewer is “Serial Port COM1 could not be opened by Putty.exe. The device either lost its network connection to the device or the local driver is being disabled”
