AnywhereUSB/5 G1 connection problems when several USB devices operates

Hi,

We have used AnywhereUSB/5 to connect two Huawei USB 3G modems with Voice future to our virtual server. Calls to these modems are handled in PBX.

Everything work fine with single call - voice from PBX to these modems is clear with no delays, echoes or jitters. Problems start when placing second call to second modem. Both calls becomes jittered that it can’t be understood.

Any suggestions?

Hi Andrius,

This may be a bandwidth issue. AnywhereUSBs are USB 1.1 hubs with realistic transfer rates of about 4-6 Mb/sec. Are these USB 2.0 modems? Do they utilize USB 2.0 speeds? You may want to ask the Huawei USB 3G modem support group if they are compatible with USB 1.1 hubs (ports).
