AnywhereUSB and BlackBerry - Blue screen

Hi,

I get blue screen when I connect a BlackBerry terminal 9000 to the AnywhereUSB.
Does someone got an idea ?

Working fine with USB Key.

Thanks for the help

Marc

I’m running BlackBerry Manager v. 4.1.5.26
AnywhereUSB
Boot Code v1.4.8
Firmware v2.30.5
Hardware 0x5

Hi Marc,

Connect that BlackBerry directly to a PC (install the driver if prompted) then run the AnywhereUSB Check Utility. Does it pass? That it, does the utility say that the device is compatible?

http://ftp1.digi.com/support/utilities/awusbcheck.exe

Hi Jeremy,

The utility says that’s OK: “No incompatible devices found”

Got another idea ?

Try the previous AnywhereUSB driver, which is version 2.40. You can download it from our FTP site using the info below. The file name is “40002533_G.exe”. You should first uninstall the existing version by clicking “View / Driver Information / Uninstall” in the AnywhereUSB Configuration Utility and then reboot the PC when prompted. After Windows loads, run the installer for the 2.40 version.

If you are using a FTP client:
Host name: ftp://ftp1.digi.com
Username: austin
Password: !15st3n!

If you are using Internet Explorer 6 (or a previous version), copy & paste the following address:

ftp://austin:!15st3n!@ftp1.digi.com

This will automatically log you in with the above Username & Password.

If you are using Internet Explorer 7:

  1. Copy & paste the following address: ftp://ftp1.digi.com
  2. Click the “Tools” button at the top-right and make sure that “Menu Bar” is checked.
  3. click “View” at the top-left then click “Open FTP Site in Windows Explorer”.
  4. In the new window that opens, click “File / Login As”, enter the above Username & Password, then click the “Log On” button.
