We are using our new AW24-G300 for presenting our Licensing Dongles to the appropriate License Servers.
We have many dongles that are detected with identical Vendor ID’s and Product ID’s.
When I assign a unique “local names” to multiple dongles that have the same Vendor/Product ID’s, the most recent “local name” overrides the previously named dongles and makes them all the same.
Example of what we would like to see:
Dongle 01:
Vendor: SafeNet Inc.
Product: Sentinel HL
Local Name: License A
Vendor ID: 0x0529
Product ID: 0x0001
Address: 1501
Serial:
Dongle 02:
Vendor: MARX
Product: CRYPTO-BOX 2 USB
Local Name: License B
Vendor ID: 0x0D7A
Product ID: 0x0002
Address: 1502
Serial:
Dongle 03:
Vendor: AKS
Product: HASP HL 3.25
Local Name: License C
Vendor ID: 0x0529
Product ID: 0x0001
Address: 1503
Serial:

We have ~175 different licensing services with ~62 physical dongles. We need to be able to distinguish which dongle listed in the “AnywhereUSB Manager” belongs to which product on the server.
Is this a bug? Design flaw/feature?
Any advice or fix would be most appreciated.
Regards,
Leon
