This is a constructive feedback about our issues with the AnywhereUSB 2 Plus device and AnywhereUSB Manager software. The latter is installed as a service in a Windows Server virtual machine for connecting to a remote GNSS USB device. However, a couple of interruptions in the connection occurred in the last months as the manager failed to connect to the device:
From the screen shot, it seems like the service is blocking the use of the device to itself. I cannot attach the logs as it is forbidden by your application.
The manager version is v3.1.38.1 and the device firmware version is v25.5.52.25.
Since our application is critical, we cannot afford interruptions. We have installed four devices to our clients and we decided to remove them to replace with local compact computers.

From looking at that screenshot, the status says no-one was using that USB device. When you’re in that state, you need to right-click the device then click connect (or setup auto-connect). does this help?
Are you concerned about the red cross duplicate/tripple showing the same hub again?
This might be from a cache of previous connections.
You might want to try to assign a static IP address to the hub, add the hub to the known hubs list in AnywhereUSB Manager and disable autofind in the manager, to avoid duplicate connections, see: AnywhereUSB® Plus User Guide

I added a known host duplicate to ensure redundancy over IPv4 and IPv6. The hubs are configured with auto-connect. The issue here is that the manager cannot connect to the AnywhereUSB 2 autonomously as it self-blocks. Right-clicking is not an option as this is a virtual machine running 24h. It must run without interruptions.
I suggest creating a support case with Digi (referencing this forum post), likely that would turn into Digi escalating this (concerning) AW Manager crash to engineering for review.
